Dimitrios Tourikis was born and raised in Piraeus. He earned his first degree in Accounting and Finance at Oxford Brookes University, followed by graduate studies in International Relations at the University of East London in the United Kingdom. He is currently pursuing a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at the University of East London. He has over twenty-five years of extensive experience in the financial services sector, with a focus on strategic business planning for corporate clients. He has held various positions, including: Stockbroker at Merrill Lynch in the U.S., Financial Auditor for the Further Education Development Agency in London, as well as Financial Analyst at Boston Finance, and Assistant Stockbroker at the former Emporiki Bank (Credit Agricole Group) in Athens. Dimitrios is a Certified Tax Accountant, a member of STEP (Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners) U.K., and a member of the Economic Chamber of Greece. In 2009, he founded Callamus, where he specializes in international tax and estate planning. In addition, Dimitrios is actively engaged in the field of economic diplomacy across the African continent and in cross-border business negotiations.
